Spring brings a deck

As the snow melted away, it was time to start filling in the platform. First order of business - a deck. proper deck, with cedar decking. Cedar is really the perfect treehouse material (but more expensive than alternatives), as it's relatively water/rot resistant and so so light. I also used 4x4 cedar posts for structural support of the the railing. Getting these level and plumb was a bit tricky, but some shims helped for when the platform was a bit twisted...
